So it has been forever since I have sat for a minute to blog. We had a wonderful holiday season and also a wonderful wedding (Heidi). So now it seems like life is getting back to normal a bit. Today was a great day to stay home and enjoy the huge snow storm. I had never shoveled snow until today. In fact I spent a good majority of the day doing it with the kids-which was a ball. It was a total play day. I love days like today.

Girls just want to have fun!!
Last night Rylee had her two cousins, Gracie and Hallee, over for a sleepover. They absolutely love spending time together. Grandma Williams so graciously watched the cousins last night so that the parents could get some Christmas shopping done. Afterwards the girls came to our house for more cousin fun.
We watched Pollar Express and ate popcorn.

And after a good night of sleep the girls dressed up as my little "elves", and we headed out for some neighborhood gift giving. It was fun to watch from the car. We only had a few catastrophes. We love you Hallee and Gracie!
Had a midnight snack (It was really only 10pm)
Went to bed with all the stuffed animals that would fit.

Go Jazz
Our holiday weekend flew by so quickly. We wanted to cram in as much stuff as possible (so much for relaxing over the weekend!). The kids sported their Jazz jerseys and we were off to the game. We made it through the entire game. The kids love "the Bear" and Rylee loves the dancers. Boston got into the game and was cheering for our winning team. Even Nash was captivated by all the action-he sat totally still and even fell asleep towards the end. Fun family time!
Thanksgiving Feast
When people talk about feasting on Thanksgiving day-that is exactly what we do. We are so fortunate to have both of our families close by. We can not stand the thought of not spending the holiday with both, so we get to eat two Thanksgiving meals. Everyone made such an effort to make things just perfect. We loved being with our families, which we are so grateful for.

Hello Halloween!
We are so excited for Halloween. We have spent a lot of days preparing and gearing up for the haunted holiday. Rylee's favorite thing to do this year is "BOO" people. For those who aren't familiar with booing. It is the tradition of leaving a bag of treats anonymously on someones door step at night with a friendly note from the neighborhood ghost. You in turn are suppose to "boo" three other people. Well, we had so much fun the first night, we have done it just about every night since and booed just about every one we know. How can you say no to a five-year old that wants to do nice things for others!!
Our costumes are ready-which have to remain a surprise until the actual day.
Our pumpkins are painted. (We paint them at our house-it's much easier for me).
The scary treats are made.
We've read (and read and read) our spooky books.
And we have identified all the homes in our area that have so creatively decorated their yards for Halloween. Yep-we are ready!
